Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Power Washer. The Power Washer, or pressure washing technician, is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces using high-powered pressure washing equipment, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

PAY $18.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate Pressure Washing Equipment: Use high-pressure water sprays to clean surfaces such as buildings, sidewalks, vehicles, and outdoor furniture.
• Surface Preparation: Inspect surfaces for potential hazards or damage before beginning work and prepare areas for cleaning by removing debris and obstacles.
• Select Cleaning Solutions: Choose appropriate cleaning agents based on the surface type and level of dirt or stains to ensure effective cleaning without damage.
• Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on pressure washing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide job estimates, and ensure satisfaction upon job completion.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear to minimize risks associated with high-pressure equipment and cleaning agents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• No prior work history required
• Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and train others
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills to be able to access timecards, training, and employment information
• Ability to multi-task

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior power wash work experience
• Prior experience as a floor technician
• Experience in cleaning and restoring floor coverings such as carpet, tile, vinyl
• Valid driver’s license
